Choose Your Rental (6 Month Agreement + Set-Up Materials Fee) Premiere or Golden Gate in Violin/Viola/Cello
You can acquire the rental instrument by choosing the desired rental option above by shopping through the website checkout. By doing so, you agree and bound to all the terms of the rental agreement. After rental is paid for, the rental will be available for pick-up at an agreed time.

RENTAL PACKAGES
There are two rental grades, Premiere and Golden Gate Lines. Golden Gates Models have better materials and workmanship which constitutes generally to a more responsive and malleable tone, with a higher set-up fee due to an upgrade in quality of strings packaged with those outfits. Contact us if you would like to set up an appointment to try the rental outfits in person as well as have the option of a Bay Fine Strings representative play them for you to hear the difference.

Violin Premiere Entry Level 1/10 size to 4/4
$30 per month with a 6-m0nth initial downpayment agreement, and a one time $65 set-up materials fee.

Violin Golden Gate advancing Outfit 1/4 size to 4/4
$40 per month with a 6-month initial downpayment, and a one time $85 set-up materials fee.

Viola Premiere Entry Level 14" size to 16.5"
$40 per month with a 6-m0nth initial downpayment agreement, and a one time $95 set-up materials fee.

Viola Golden Gate Advancing Outfit 15" size to 16.5"
$50 per month with a 6-m0nth initial downpayment agreement, and a one time $115 set-up materials fee.

$55 per month with a 6-m0nth initial downpayment agreement, and a one time $125 set-up materials fee.

Cello Golden Gate Advancing Outfit 3/4 and 4/4 size
$65 per month with a 6-m0nth initial downpayment agreement, and a one time $150 set-up materials fee.

RENTAL CREDITS AND UPGRADES
​
100% Monthly rental credit can be accrued towards the purchase of the next size instrument and in the next tier up or better (i.e. Premiere rental to Golden Gate purchase or better)
​
If the next size is purchased at the same level (Premiere to Premiere or Golden Gate to Golden Gate), there is a 65% credit accrual of the monthly deposits towards the next size. If no rental or purchase is made, rental deposits are not accrued for subsequent future sizes.
