This superb gold mounted violin bow by Pierre Nehr is made on a 19th century French master influenced model. The bow exhibits special pernambuco that is vibrant, warm, and focused, traits most of Pierre's bows share. At 60.2 grams, the bow effortlessly tracks on the string and has medium-to-strong flexibility that gives it stability and allows the player to nimbly control the tonal shadings more precisely.
Pierre's bows are entirely handmade according to French tradition, where the work is influenced by the great French masters of the 19th century, to which he brings his personal style. Currently, he works only on the creation of new bows.
Pierre's bows are played by orchestra musicians, chamber musicians, concertmasters, soloists, as well as collectors around the world.
