Passionate about fine bows, Pierre Guillaume today enjoys an highly regarded reputation as historical bow authentication expert and bow maker, which he owes to his conscientious and meticulous approuch to work. He was trained as a bow maker in Mirecourt, in the French tradition of the last great workshops of Bazin, Morizot, and Ouchard. Since 1986, he along with Jan Strick run the esteemed Maison Bernard violin shop in Brussels, founded in the mid 19th century. He has trained many award winning bowmakers and enjoys an esteemed reputation for his work, highly sought after.
