A remarkable silver mounted violin bow by Noel Burke, 58.9 grams made in Carlow, Ireland, in his Classique Model. Nimble, with agility, and with an energetic yet smooth response, medium suppleness. The feeling and tone of this bow calls forth the style of classical French 19th century master bows.

About Noel Burke

Noel Burke began his bowmaking in 1989 under master bowmakers Charles Espey in Seattle, Washington and Paris, France, where he studied under Stephane Thomachot for two years.

Noel has lived and worked in Italy (Cremona), France (Paris) and USA (Washington State). Noel now lives and works in Carlow, Ireland where he concentrates on new making and the teaching of bow making, many of whom have gone on to become award winning master bowmakers themselves.
