A Stradivari inspired violin by South Korean maker, Min Sung Kim. The violin showcases a brilliantly full and resonant tone that has a bell-like clarity and pedal resonance, with a focused edge in all of the registers that allows the performer a well rounded concert instrument capable of projecting in any setting.
About Min Sung Kim:
Min Sung us native from  Non-san inSouth Korea, (b.1971). He majored in physics at the state university in Korea. Two years later he left Korea for Salt Lake City, United State to study violin making where he studied with Peter Paul Prier. In 1999, Min Sung went to Italy and subsequently graduated at IPIALL (Cremona international violin marking school) studying in the class with Primo Pistoni and Alessandro Voltini, until 2003. Min Sung has devoted his time to making full time. Min Sung received awards in many well-known national and international violin making competitions, and currently makes in Seoul, South Korea.

– 2006. 10 : Won Bronze Medal for Cello in ” XI  Concorso Triennale Internazionale degli Strumenti ad Arco Antonio Stradivari”-Cremona.
– 2006. 11  :Won “Certificate of Merit for Cello tone in “17th International Violin Making Competition of VSA(violin society of America).
– 2007. 05 : Was 4th place for Cello tone in “International Competition of Cello Making in Manchester”.
– 2008. 08 : Won Gold Medal for Cello in professional division in “2nd Pisogne italian national violin making competition”.
– 2009. 08 : Won Silver Medal for Cello in professional division in “3rd Pisogne italian national violin making competition”.
– 2010. 05 : Won Gold Medal & Best Set up for Cello in “1st China  international violin making competition in Beijing”.
– 2010. 05 : Won Silver Medal & Best workmanship with Cello and 4th place with Viola in “6th International Violin Making Competition in Mittenwald 2010.
– 2010. 11 : Won “Certificate of merit” for quartet workmanship in “19th International Violin Making Competition  of  VSA(Cleveland, Ohio).
– 2011. 05 : Won “Gold Medal & Best Set up” in “12th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Making Competition in poznan’ Poland.
– 2013. 09 : Won “Silver medal for Viola & Bronze medal for Violin” in “2nd China  international violin making competition in Beijing”.
– 2018. 09 : Won Menzione D’onore (3rd Palce) for Viola in “XV Concorso  Triennale Internazionale di Liuteria Antonio Stradivari” in Cremona
– 2018. 11 : Won Certificate of merit for quartet workmanship (3rd Place) in "23rd International Violin Making Competition of VSA” in Cleveland, Ohio
