A prolific and consistently capable violin maker, John Juzek worked in Prague in the early 20th century. His violins and violas are often a Guarneri with a Stradivari scroll and slightly elongated f-holes. Often copied by lesser German makers, they are among the highest quality Czech instruments of the period.
