Jan Spidlen continues the traditions of the world-famous violin-making family and is a producer of first-class string instruments. His clients count to the best Czech and world's artists, as Pavel Šporcl, Ivan Ženatý, Leoš Čepický, Jaroslav Svěcený, or Gidon Kremer and Kremerata Baltica, just as Leonidas Kavakos. 

Jan has been awarded a number of prizes at international violin-making competitions. In the last years he has been attending competitions as jury member.
