A Bay Fine Strings Customized Glasser Carbon Composite Acoustic Electric Cello combines the advanced technology of the acoustic instrument with state of the art electronics by Bartolini. What sets this instrument apart from other retailers is that it features a further refined bridge with an acoustic timbre tuning.
The instrument is able to be played either acoustically or plug in to the Glasser Swordtail active pick up system by switching out two Bay Fine Strings customized bridges. The instrument is set up with Planetary Pegs. 
The AEX version uses a paint/dye coating system to provide a distinctive, slightly pearlescent color to the body of the instrument. It comes with a carbon composite body with carbon weave, and Magnacore  strings by Larsen are included.
The outfit includes a matching Glasser bow, a rosin, a polishing cloth, and a 10' right-angle cable, all in a backpack case.
Glasser AEX instruments combine the advanced technology of the acoustic instrument with state-of-the-art electronics with pre-amplification by Bartolini, and Schatten bridge pick-ups. This allows for the instrument to be played acoustically or plug in to the Glasser Swordtail active chinrest/tailpiece systems (patent pending).
