Dominique Peccatte Workshop Bow, Mirecourt, France, Mid 19th Century

For anyone looking for a relatively affordable 19th-century bow with that 19th-century magic, this bow has it.

Made in the workshop of one of the most famous bow makers of all time (Dominique Peccatte), this bow retains its original lapping and possesses a warm, ample tone with an ease of tonal modulation. The bee wood stick is supple, but with an even elasticity and strength throughout that is characteristic of the school of this maker.

WEIGHT: 60 grams

MOUNTS: Later mounts of nickel-silver.

CERTIFICATE: JF Raffin
