Dominique Peccatte Workshop Bow, Mirecourt, France, 1865

For anyone looking for a relatively affordable 19th-century bow with that 19th-century magic, this bow has it.

Made in the workshop of one of the most famous bow makers of all time (Dominique Peccatte) around 1865, this bow retains its original lapping and possesses a focused yet warm, ample tone with an ease of tonal modulation. The bee wood stick is supple with support, but with an even elasticity and strength throughout that is characteristic of the school of this maker.

WEIGHT: 59.8 grams

MOUNTS: copy mounts of silver.

CERTIFICATE: JF Raffin
