With trade label shop it was sold at, Leon Bernardel, Paris dated 1943, signed, and numbered 1126 in red pen. Nice one piece back. High quality tone wood, light in weight in-hand. Certificate of authenticity by JJ Rampal, Paris. Very long sustain, quite reverberant, radiant sound with deep bass, brilliant harmonic content, colorful, with an very quick response, even balance across the strings leading to a strong projecting treble register.
