Rare bow made by the pre-imminent American master bowmaker. Silver mounted bow in excellent state of preservation, 68.5 grams, with the model of Peccatte. Born in 1946, Charles Espey learned his craft with Herman Bischofberger and David Saunders in Seattle, then with Robert Shallock and Martin Devillers. He also worked with Stephane Thomachot. In VSA gold medal in the 1980's, and in 1993 he won the gold medal at the Kassel International competition.
